Job Quest (Causeway Work Centre)
Location
Job Quest is a supported employment program designed to respond to the needs of individuals who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. The objective of Job Quest is to assist individuals in finding and keeping paid employment.
Job Quest is a hybrid of the IPS (Individual Place & Support) and job coach models of supported employment.
The Principles of Job Quest
The Primary goal of Job Quest is that the individual obtain competitive employment in their field of choice. The Program's emphasis is on rapid job search and placement. Supports are geared to the individuals needs and are available as long as he/she requires. Job Quest provides employment supports in partnership with other community agencies that provide referral, housing, clinical, substance abuse, recreation, drop-in services, and crisis supports.

Referral For Job Quest
Individuals can self refer or can be referred by other service providers, family members and community members
Elegibility Criteria
The following criteria will be used in order to determine weather an individual is eligible for the Job Quest Program:
- The person must be homeless or at risk of becoming homeless OR
- They must have Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder through medical documentation or self- diagnosis
- The persom must be capable and willing to work
- The person must be at least 16 years of age
- The person must be eligible to work in Canada
